Focus: Product and data management
Your tasks:
Support product strategy and portfolio management
Development and implementation of product strategies in collaboration with the R&D, Sales and Marketing departments. Identification of market trends, customer needs, and competition with the aim to develop and adjust innovative product solutions. Administration of the product life cycle: from market analysis and product development through market introduction and market exit (discontinue items). Analysis and optimization of the existing product portfolio to maximize sales revenue and profitability. Maintenance of standard product catalogues and the Eibach-App application(s) for the aftermarket and motorsports .Management of standard product catalogues for the aftermarket and motorsports (Springs, Shock absorbers, Stabilizer bars, Wheel Spacer, etc.). Stock planning of standard catalogue items. Management of the Eibach app data base
Market and competition analysis
Identification of chances and risks by regular market observations and competitor analysis. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing to understand the market and its customers´ needs and develop adequate solutions. Development of price strategies based on market and competitor data as well as customer requirements
Product development and introduction
Coordination of product development in close collaboration with R&D, quality control and external suppliers (e.g. data suppliers, IT companies, developers, ...) . Coordination and implementation of product introduction (including market communication, pricing, and product positioning) with Marketing and Sales department. Accompaniment of product development from concept to market readiness, considering cost, quality and deadlines. Assessment of training needs and analysis of potential for continuous improvement. Training and support of Sales with the marketing and placement of new and existing products. After sales support, both technical and commercial. Represent company and our products at exhibitions, and customer training and events.
KPI and controlling
Monitoring and administration of stock levels of catalogue items (replenishment: production vs. purchasing) .Monitoring of product performance and the relevant KPI like revenue, sales units, margin and market share. Regular reporting of success of product measures as well as identification of potential for improvement. Presentation of product strategies and results to management. Monitoring and analysis of current market, competition, and product related developments, active building of new product and application list; regular reporting to superiors.
General tasks
Bear responsibility for the work quality and on-time delivery of tasks/Represent company and our products at exhibitions, and customer training and events/Coordination of touchpoints between departments/General administrative tasks as required by superior/Carry out technical training for customers and colleagues.
Your Qualifications
Excellent English in speaking and writing. Technical background, e.g. mechanical engineering; engineering degree is a plus. Background knowledge and strong interest in the automotive industry or similar industries. Ability to work independently with a strong awareness of customer [网址不可见] player qualities, flexibility and ability to work under pressure. Profound knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel. Driving license (confident to drive on the highway) . Mobility (business travel within China). Enthusiasm for cars and performance industry.
