I BROAD FUNCTION
· Supervising, leading and supporting the demand planning, material planning and production planning for the assigned business division(s).
· Ensuring the execution of material planning functions for FG, SFG, components and or RM for having the right inventory available to meet market demands and inventory targets.
· Ensuring the execution of production scheduling to allow for an efficient order fulfilment and aligned production process, considering lead times, costs, resources.
· Ensuring the execution of the purchasing order process, and day to day supplier management.
· Meeting given performance targets / KPIs and supporting improvement initiatives.
II PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Overseeing the demand planning, material planning and production scheduling functions for the assigned business areas and including RM, SFG, FG, packaging
· Ensure all staff can carry out their functions, including back-ups; Plan, verify and improve capacities and performance of the team
· Conduct team meetings, participate in company meetings to represent the PMC team
· Within the team function, collecting, preparing and maintaining the necessary demand data to support the planning of FG / SFG / components, considering the lead-time and other constraints and ensuring an adequate planning horizon.
· Within the team function, carrying out the replenishment planning based on respective strategies and demands, determining necessary delivery schedules and initiate order placement or issue orders directly where applicable
· Within the team function, carry out the production scheduling including pre-scheduling, where applicable, in close cooperation with the plant and under consideration of delivery dates, plant resources and process costs
· Within the team function, carry out the purchase order scheduling with supplier, and day to day supplier management
· Review, verify and update, where applicable, MRP Strategies and parameters; Inventory holding levels and targets; Production planning strategies and parameters
· Develop and recommend initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of order management, demand and supply planning, replenishment, inventory turnover, production scheduling.
· Support the information flow to ensure timely and complete reporting to the planning and S&OP process
· Monitoring and reporting of KPIs, including: DIH, SLOB inventory, OTIF and Shelf live, Inventory levels; Production lead time, production order fulfilment
· Building and maintaining excellent customer (internal and external) and partner relationships;
· Other tasks pertaining to PMC as required by Management
