With the expansion of business scope, on September 16th, 2022, the subsidiary of Schunk Sonosystems was established in Taicang, China-Schunk Sonosystems (Taicang) Co., Ltd. (SSO-CN), which has officially put into operation in January 2023.

崇德太仓充分利用德国总部的技术，在太仓生产科技含量高、附加值高的超声波金属焊接机。相对于传统的焊接技术，超声波焊接通过一秒钟两万次的高频超声波振动，使两种不同材料或同种材料，达到分子结合，不仅焊接强度高，而且性能稳定、外形美观，焊接过程不需要添加其他材料。这些高科技的焊接设备将广泛用于新能源汽车。
SSO-CN makes full use of the technology of its German headquarters to produce ultrasonic metal welding machines with high technology content and high added value in Taicang. Compared with traditional welding technology, ultrasonic welding makes two different materials or the same material through high-frequency ultrasonic vibration 20,000 times per second, to achieve molecular bonding, which not only has high welding strength, but also has stable performance, beautiful appearance and no need to add other materials in welding process. These high-tech welding machines will be widely used in new energy vehicles.
