PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. EHS System Establishment & Maintenance
•    Maintain the existing EHS management system, ensuring continuous compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, and drive ongoing improvement initiatives.
•    Regularly review, update plant safety production, environmental protection, and occupational health regulations, operating procedures, and emergency response plans according to the requirements of the plant and group headquarters.

2. Site Risk Management
• Core Risk Control: Conduct specialized risk assessments and implement controls for key risks in each production area.
• Regularly organize plant-wide hazard identification and risk assessments, establish a major risk register, and supervise the implementation of control measures.

3. Hazard Identification & Remediation
• Develop safety inspection plans, organize daily, special, and seasonal safety inspections, track the implementation of corrective actions, and ensure closed-loop management.
• Liaise with government authorities (Emergency Management Bureau, Ecology and Environment Bureau, Health Commission) during inspections to ensure full compliance.

4. Training & Culture Building
• Organize three-tier safety training for new employees, certification training for special equipment operators, and regular safety training for all staff.
• Promote the corporate culture of "Zero Accidents," and organize activities such as Safety Month and fire drills.

5. Environmental & Occupational Health Management
• Supervise the proper operation of waste gas treatment facilities (VOCs treatment), the compliant disposal of solid waste (hazardous waste), and environmental monitoring activities.
• Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of occupational hazard factors (dust, noise, high temperature) and ensure the proper provision and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

6. Emergency & Accident Management
• Maintain firefighting facilities and emergency equipment and organize emergency drills.
• Lead the investigation, analysis, reporting, and corrective action development for workplace injuries, and ensure global reporting according to the corporate process.

7. Contractor Management
• Responsible for the qualification review and on-site safety supervision of external construction units and temporary workers.

REQUIREMENTS

1) EDUCATION
•    Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

2)    EXPERIENCE
•    5+ years of EHS management experience in a manufacturing enterprise.
•    Have experience in plastic products or similar industries and be familiar with the key safety protection points for equipment like extruders.

3)    PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
•    Must hold a Registered Safety Engineer certificate.
•    Qualified as an ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 internal auditor.
•    Preference for candidates holding a Fire Protection Certificate.

4)    PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
•    Proficient in national laws and regulations concerning Safety Production, Environmental Protection, Fire Protection, and related local standards.
•    Familiar with dust explosion prevention safety regulations, hazardous chemical management, and machinery safety protection standards.
•    Excellent risk identification and site management skills, with the ability to go to the front line to solve practical problems.

5)    LANGUAGE AND SOFT SKILLS
•        Strong communication and coordination skills, high execution ability, and the capacity to work under pressure. Must be principled and have a strong sense of responsibility
•        MS office software, Words, PPT, Excel.
•        Good work attitude and good English skill.
