1. Design and develop fiber lasers, high power signal combiners (HPC) and optical systems to meet cost, quality and project time line
2. Evaluate, test and qualify optical components / modules / systems to meet project specifications
3. Resolve technical issues
4. Source for fiber laser components and other related items
5. Achieve best customer satisfaction, internally and externally
6. Provide support to released products
7. Prepare technical documents, including but not limited to: technical specifications, manuals, work instructions, validation plans, reports, etc.
8. Ensure safety standards
9. Support to complete other tasks assigned from the immediate supervisor per business requirement

1. Proficient in fiber laser technologies; including but not limited to laser oscillator, amplifier, pumps, fibers, fiber components,    laser beam combination    and beam delivery
2. Familiar with optical fiber processing, laser test and measurement techniques and equipment
3. Good problem solving, and data analysis skills
4. Good communication skills
5. Good project management skills
6. Proficient in MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel)
